The Town of Paonia Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, to consider two separate agenda items.
The first item of consideration is an application submitted Aug. 7 for a special use permit for Wildflower Children's Collective, a for-tuition school, to operate within Delta County School District J50 property located at 218 Fourth Street.
The second item involves a proposed ordinance removing numerous articles from Chapter 16 -- Zoning of the Town Code, and adding articles to Chapter 18 -- Building Regulations of the Town Code.
Based on findings of the meeting the four-member commission is expected to make recommendations to the town Board of Trustees for consideration at the regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12. A public hearing on the special use permit will be included on the agenda.
