A crowdfunding site has been launched for the Delta High School class that won the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow challenge for the state of Colorado. The students are using STEM principles to address a real-life problem -- excessive noise in the cafeteria at Lincoln Elementary School. On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
