The 2016 Landscapes West and Outdoor Living event is returning to Grand Junction this March. The last show was in 2011. The two-day event is being held at the Two Rivers Convention Center on March 18 and 19.
This event brings together landscape professionals, Colorado Master Gardeners and the general public interested in landscaping and gardening, under one roof.
Many opportunities are made available for people to get great ideas and learn how to grow their landscape in western Colorado. Professionals will also have the opportunity to network with their industry peers, make business contacts and attend educational programs to improve their skills and earn continuing education credits.
Once you pay your admittance fee, you will have access to the exhibit hall where area businesses will display resources for all your landscape needs. Come talk to the experts. There will also be displays with real plants inside the exhibit hall that should help give you great ideas for your own landscape as we jump forward to spring.
There will be many classes of interest for both the professional and the do-it-yourself landscaper or gardener.
Classes will run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The exhibit hall is open from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
General admission is $5 per person, with children under 13 free. Classes are $35 for all of Friday, $25 on Saturday or $60 for all classes both days.
