The Delta branch of Guild Mortgage held its inaugural client appreciation event at Delta Family Fun Park last Thursday. Guild customers from Delta and surrounding areas attended. The goal of the event was to extend a heartfelt thank you to the community for supporting Guild Mortgage for the past year.
The event was organized by Delta staff Portia Vigil, mortgage loan originator and Sady Mitchell, transaction coordinator. Their office is located at 540 Main Street, Suite 101.
"Despite the rain, we were happy with the turnout. Being able to help members of our own community is the most rewarding part of this job," said Vigil. The team plans on making this an annual event.
Guild Mortgage is a national mortgage company offering hundreds of loan programs for a wide array of borrower situations including first-time buyers, military families and rural homebuyers.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
