The Hotchkiss FFA Alumni is supported by the Colorado FFA Alumni and the National FFA Alumni in their vision of students whose lives are impacted by FFA and agricultural education will achieve academic and personal growth, strengthen American agriculture and provide leadership to build healthy local communities, a strong nation and a sustainable world.
The Hotchkiss FFA alumni will be holding a 2017 kickoff meeting Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the ag education classroom at Hotchkiss High School. The alumni officers are Nancy Carlson, president; Jason Wrich, vice president; Jessi Mautz, secretary; and Amy Miller, treasurer. They will be welcoming new and established members who are interested in supporting the Hotchkiss FFA members and the ag education advisor, Coley Wondra.
There are no membership dues (tax deductible donations will be accepted). If you did not receive a membership card by mail, please contact Nancy Carlson at ncarl

The contact information must be recorded by 7 p.m. on Jan. 24 to be a participant in the meeting. Established members are encouraged to help provide contact information for new members, so that they may be entered in a drawing to be held at the end of the meeting.

The Delta County Ambulance District responded to a call from the Montrose Dispatch Center at 5:16 p.m. Saturday, April 21, regarding an injured turkey hunter on the Uncompahgre Plateau. Deputies and EMS responded and found Kyle Cody Duran, 23, of Montrose deceased on arrival.
