Two incidents that occurred in Hotchkiss early in the year remain unsolved.
According to Marshal Dan Miller, cause of a March 8 fire at Tucker's Pizza, Pub and Arcade, 221 W. Bridge Street, suspected to be arson, remains under delayed but active investigation by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Neither the marshal's office nor the CBI has any leads in the case.
Also last March, theft of upwards of $20,000 in professional sound equipment, including amplifiers, microphones and other equipment, was reported stolen from beneath the grandstands of the Delta County Fairgrounds. The exact date of the theft is unknown. The case remains open and unsolved, said Marshal Miller. A partial list of equipment, including serial numbers, has been entered into a criminal database, but no activity has been reported.
Anyone with leads in either of these incidents can contact the marshal's office at 872-3848.
