At Friday's third annual Delta Sweitzer Lake Invitational, six Hotchkiss runners set new personal best times.

In the boys' division, all three competitors set new personal records, including Tevin Keller, who finished 33rd with a time of 18 minutes, 59.66 seconds, Kenny Drbohlav (34th, 19:06.58), and Will Ela (51st, 20:26.44).

In a record-breaking race, the bigger schools dominated at Sweitzer in the 2017 Invitational race.

Grand Junction Central and Fruita Monument high schools finished first and second. Olathe finished third with 95 points, followed by Delta (113 points), Bayfield (118), and Paonia (137). Telluride's Jaden Evans set a new course record of 16:13.27.

In the women's division, Hannah Hatheway's 11th place time of 22 minutes, 2.97 seconds, reset her prior personal best time by a full 25 seconds.

Junior Mariah Griffith placed 19th with a personal best time of 23:14.83.

Isabella Spano placed 30th with a personal best time of 23:54.93 for the year, and Grace Hatheway finished 41st with a time of 25:07.1.
