altA house fire that struck in the frigid, early morning hours the day after Christmas has left a disabled Orchard City couple homeless and needing help.

Steven Reed, 48, and his wife Debbie, 50, fortunately were at their daughter’s home in Mesa when the fire struck their 2100 Road residence on Dec. 26 at 2:30 a.m.

Tank Hill could sprout a crop of communications gear

altThe Town of Orchard City’s Tank Hill tank farm could sprout a new crop of communications antennae.
The Cedredge Volunteer Fire Department, Delta Volunteer Fire Department, and the county’s emergency response 800-megahertz radio communications system could be able soon to share space on a new communications antenna area being discussed for installation on Tank Hill in Orchard City.
