A Propane Industry Responders' Conference is being held by the Colorado Propane Gas Association (CPGA) to facilitate the exchange of vital propane safety information, techniques and experiences among industry responders across the state.
The conference will be held Sept. 29-30 at Delta-Montrose Technical College and will cover the evolution of propane emergencies, propane response and mitigation strategies.
"This conference demonstrates the propane industry's continued commitment to the safety and well-being of fire service, emergency responders and the public," said Baron Glassgow, executive director of CPGA. "In the past 10 years the propane industry has invested millions of dollars in training hundreds of thousands of firefighters and emergency responders."
Attendance is open to anyone involved with propane-related emergency and incident response activities, including propane professionals, fire service and emergency response trainers, towing and recovery professionals, law enforcement and more.
