This week's headlines

Legislative reapportionment has brought new county voting prrecinct alignments. They have also been renumbered, Ann Eddins, county clerk and recorder, and Rene Loy, elections director explained to the county commisioners in December.

Under the new numbering regimen, precincts 1-8 will vote at Bill Heddles Recreation Center; precincts 9 and 10 vote at Orchard City; precincts 11-14 vote at Cedaredge; precincts 15 and 16 vote at Hotchkiss; precinct 17 votes at Crawford; and precincts 18-20 vote at Paonia.
