Grants awarded to non-profits providing victim assistance

The Victim Assistance Law Enforcement (VALE) board recently held its business and grant presentation meeting. As a result of that meeting, the VALE board awarded the following VALE grants and COVA Scholarships

: $101,518, 7th Judicial District Attorney's Office; $15,000, Gunnison County Sheriff's Department; $21,450, The Dolphin House; $7,470, CASA; $12,500, San Miguel Resource Center; $23,688.54, Montrose Police Department; $5,925, Jubilee House; $37,950, Montrose County Sheriff Department; $6,585, Uncompahgre Volunteer Legal Aid; $2,400, Center for Restorative Practices; $15,615, Tri-County Resource Program; and $5,000, Colorado Legal Services.
