Going pink for a good cause

During the month of October, the Delta County Ambulance District wears pink in support of breast cancer awareness month. This year, the Delta County Ambulance District sold T-shirts and donated the proceeds of $500 to the Delta Doves. 1440 Image Apparel discounted the shirts so $10 from each sale could be presented to the Delta Doves. The local organization funds mammograms for women who cannot afford them. The Delta Doves is looking for volunteers to help them in this worthy cause. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Beverly Moore at 835-4033.
