This week's headlines

The death of a 14-year-old Delta High School student has been ruled a suicide. The freshman's death occurred at his home the night of Nov. 29 and was the subject of an investigation by the Delta Police Department.

Chief Robert Thomas said there is no reason to believe bullying or other factors were involved, and the investigation has been closed.

The student, Chris Warren, previously attended Centennial Middle School in Montrose.
