This week's headlines

The Delta City Council normally meets on the first and third Tuesdays of every month beginning at 7 p.m. In January, however, the first Tuesday of the month falls on New Year's Day.

Council members decided at their Dec. 4 meeting to take advantage of the five Mondays in January and reschedule their regular sessions to Jan. 8 and 22.

Council members are in the process of finalizing dates for a retreat with city manager Justin Clifton and his staff. The retreat will also take place in January.
