Liftoff

The Black Canyon Audubon Society is coordinating the observance of Eckert Crane Days, with activities planned March 15-17. Every spring, as many as 18,000 greater sandhill cranes spend the night at Fruitgrowers Reservoir near Eckert as they migrate to their nesting areas to the north. More details about the activities taking place during Eckert Crane Days can be found on pages C1-3.
