As requested by state statute, the Delta County Sheriff's Office will host a community notification meeting to inform residents in the general area of the Rimrock and Cedar Mesa road intersection, that a person, deemed by the state as a sexually violent predator has moved to that part of the county.
"We want the public to be aware that we do not have another classified predator living in our community," said Delta County Sheriff Fred McKee.
"We have held three previous meetings concerning this same individual. As required by law, a community meeting must be held every time the individual relocates."
The informational meeting will be presented at the Redlands Mesa Grange on Thursday, March 22, starting promptly at 6 p.m. Due to the mature content of the information, it's recommended children not attend.
