The winning bids in an auction of county-owned mineral rights (oil and gas) under two separate parcels with private surface ownership were accepted by the Board of County Commissioners on Monday, June 10.

All of the mineral rights underlying an 80-acre parcel, and one-fourth of the rights under a 1,024-acre parcel were won by Rolf Sanburg, commissioners announced.
