A healthy contribution
The Delta County Memorial Hospital Foundation gratefully accepted a donation of $54,000 from Oxbow representatives Rob Thurman and Mike Ludlow last week. “We at Oxbow admire and appreciate the dedication of all associated with the operation of this great hospital,” Thurman said. “On behalf of the 340 miners at the Elk Creek Mine we present this check which will be used by the hospital to purchase an infant security system, two infant resuscitation units and a Holter monitor system and scanner.” The two also expressed appreciation to Kathy Sramek (right) and foundation board members for the work they do for the community.
