Lending a helping hand

Members of Boy Scout Troop 497 in Cedaredge helped out at a couple of community events. On Sunday, May 26, they served drinks at the Memorial Day breakfast. Above, Aaron Good and Cole Stumpf make sure everyone has plenty of coffee. Below, the troop helped out in the Big John’s golf tournament by manning the hole-in-one booth. Installation took place May 6 at the Delta United Methodist Church.

The regular business meeting of Delta Emblem Club #462 was opened in ritual form at 7:12 p.m. at the Delta Elks Lodge on May 20. The meeting was called to order by vice president Tina Shiflett.
