4-H Report December 26, 2012
Our last New Pride of the Valley 4H meeting was called to order by our club president Lacy Davis, on Dec. 18., at 3 pm. Roll call was followed by one thing that the members want for Christmas.
Our treasurer Cassidy Parker gave the treasurer's report and Haylin McCulloch made a motion to accept the report, which Cassidy Shea seconded. The only leaders' report we had was by Angie Collins.
New business was discussed, of which, the beef weigh in is on the first Saturday in February. We ended up sending all of our fair themes in to the fair board. Beef roast tickets are now being sold by our members. Old business was discussed, of which, that all members must enroll online or pay a late fee.
Lacy gave a demonstration about crossbreeding. After demonstrations, our Christmas party followed. Everyone brought food and treats. We also wrapped the presents that we bought for the family we adopted.
