Valley 4-H Club
Our Jan. 21 meeting started at 4 p.m. Roll call was one project the members will be doing at this year's county fair.
Cassidy gave the treasurer's report and there is $231.99 in our account.
Angie gave a leader's report about beef weigh in, which is on Feb. 2, and she also said that themes for fair still haven't been picked.
Jennifer gave a leader's report for swine weigh in which is on April 27. She also gave ideas on a fundraiser for the club.
Kent gave a leader's report about club officer training in Hotchkiss on March 11 at 7 p.m. at the Maloney House in the Delta County Fairgrounds. Also any intermediates moving up to seniors need to have a meat quality assurance class.
New business is that enrollments need to be in by Jan. 25; if they aren't in by then, then there will be a $10 late fee. We did not go over when the next meeting will be.
