Children are invited to attend a fun club for boys and girls, kindergarten through fifth grades including those in home school and Vision programs. Good News Clubs meet one day a week at the schools around Delta County after classes for 90-minute sessions.
Good News Clubs are sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). The meetings offer materials prepared by CEF, an international organization serving 183 countries and used by many Sunday schools and vacation Bible schools. Bible and missionary stories are explained on a child's level, often acted out by the children themselves. Songs, games, memory verses, and refreshments are included. Recognition and prizes are given for achievement and attendance.
Trained presenters and facilitators teach Bible principles with no denominational emphasis. Your child will be taught moral values, character qualities, and respect for authority. The teachers love the children and want to help them grow spiritually and morally.
There is no charge to attend though an optional missionary offering is taken each week. Parents, if they wish, are welcome to attend with their child. Parent permission for club is required. Registration forms are available at all schools listed.
