During the month of February, Turner dedicated 25 percent of her profits to the program. “I’m so impressed with this community and its businesses, that they see the importance of our child and teen program in Delta County, and they choose to support us,” Shirk said. Turner added she enjoyed supporting the program so much that she plans to do a similar fundraiser at her store in July.

The proceeds from the Rebekahs’ annual soup lunch, held this year on Feb. 16, are earmarked for hospice programs in Delta County. “We so appreciate their hard work and terrific soups!” Shirk said.
