Kinderknecht earns Eagle rank

a05 kinderknechtKinderknechtJonathen Kinderknecht, son of Robert and Vonell Kinderknecht, has earned the rank of Eagle. Jon, with the help of Troop 481, made 100 whisper phones for Garnet Mesa Elementary School.

The phones are made from PVC pipe and are used to help children who need help with speech.

Jon has been an active scouter since the age of 8 and loves the scouting program. He also enjoys volunteering his time helping his troop's Cub Scouts as an assistant. He served as a volunteer staff member for a week this summer at the Blue Mesa Scout Camp and plans to be an active scouter in the years to come.

Jon is a senior at Delta Vision HCP. His Eagle Court of Honor was held Nov. 24 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Delta. He expresses his appreciation to everyone who helped with his project and all of his exemplary leaders.
