On Tuesday, Nov. 12, the Delta Conservation District had the honor of having one of its employees, John A. Miller, recognized as Conservation District Employee of the Year by the Colorado Association of Conservation Districts at their annual meeting in Colorado Springs.
Miller was selected from among the employees of the 76 conservation districts in Colorado.
He is the district's irrigation water management specialist who was chosen for using creative approaches to make him a great liaison to interact between the office environment and local producers. Additionally, Miller freely volunteers his time and talents whether it is to produce maps, help with irrigation issues, assemble a meeting room, mentor an FFA student, or put on educational training.
The Delta Conservation District is extremely proud of his accomplishment.
The district provides assistance to landowners and agricultural producers and can be reached at 690 Industrial Boulevard, Delta, or by calling 874-5726, ext.121.blog comments powered by Disqus
