Mothers honored at Crossroads tea social

Over 60 people enjoyed the annual Mother’s Day tea at Crossroads in Delta. Special awards were given to the oldest, youngest and mother with the most children.
Large bead, small bead, large bead, small bead . . . resident Bridget Anderson completes yet another pearl necklace for the newest residents of the Crossroads family. Bridget prides herself in ensuring every lady has a stunning beaded necklace to wear to the Mother's Day tea social.

Three great-grandchildren arrive on the same day

Laurie and Bob Esplin hold pictures of their newest great-granchildren, all born on the same day. On the left is Emery Paige Meyer, the first to be born on March 23, with Audry Lylene Lowder in the middle and Eloise Alyse Esplin on the right.
March 23 is a banner day for Laurie and Bob Esplin of Delta. Three great-granddaughters were born, to three different sets of parents, in three different towns in a span of just over three hours.
