In celebration of the delivery closest to Mother’s Day, Marianna Connor RN, from Stork’s Landing at Delta County Memorial Hospital, presented her with a Mother’s Day basket donated by the Black Mesa Cattlewomen’s Association of Hotchkiss.

On May 3, Regina Lyn Hines of Delta graduated from the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) College of Arts and Professions with a bachelor's degree in professional development.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a private, Christian university located 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Waxahachie, Texas.

Recently relocated to Cedaredge from Mason, Texas, Williams is an Academy of Country Music nominee for "Best New Female Vocalist of the Year," was voted Cashbox's "Best Independent Female Vocalist" and Independent News' "Best Female Performer." She is currently a Nashville session singer via the Internet for Backwoods Recording in Nashville, Tenn.
