Evelyn M. Burkenbine of Grand Junction died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at her home. She was 93.
A graveside service was held April 27 at Delta City Cemetery.
Mrs. Burkenbine was born Oct. 25, 1918, in Iliff, to Eugene and Leeta Dolan. She spent her childhood and most of her life in Delta.
She married Virgil Burkenbine on Aug. 7, 1938. He died Aug. 8, 1984.
Mrs. Burkenbine enjoyed visiting with people.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Bonnie and Donald Davis of Grand Junction; two grandsons; two great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
