Billye-Lou Johnson died Dec. 19, 2011, at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta. She was 70.
Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Cañon City, to William and Margaret (Stroehlke) Becker. She spent her childhood in California and graduated from high school in Placerville, Calif. After graduation she and her family returned to Cañon City.
She married Gordon Wagner in September 1963. They lived in Pueblo until they divorced in 1972. She returned to Cañon City and later married Roy Johnson. She moved to Willow Tree Care Center in November 2009.
Mrs. Johnson enjoyed being a majorette and singing in the Sweet Adelines. She was an accomplished pianist.
She is survived by a son, Todd Wagner of Delta; a daughter and her husband, Laurie and Larin Jones of Delta; a brother, Robert Becker of Aurora; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A family memorial will be held.
