Robert Cooper Hewitt of Delta died of throat cancer on Saturday, May 26, 2012. He was 74.
Mr. Hewitt was born Nov. 9, 1937, in Snowmass.
He spent his winters in Arizona since 1992. He enjoyed coffee buddies, potluck suppers, lunch at the Delta Senior Center, collecting watches and antique clocks, and walking to visit friends. He raised many birds from eggs.
Mr. Hewitt is survived by his brother, Richard Miner; a sister, Joyce Rodriguez; three nieces, Mary White, Judy Huffington and Beth Bethel; and two nephews, Lee Miner and Joe Miner.
