Robert "Bobby" Christian of Hotchkiss died Oct. 31, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. He was 53.
Funeral services were held Nov. 5 at the First Baptist Church in Hotchiss with Pastor Jake DeField officiating. Interment followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Crawford.
Robert "Bobby" Julian Christian was born Feb. 15, 1959, in Delta, to Robert and Casilda Christian. He lived his entire life in Hotchkiss. He never married.
Mr. Christian enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, reading western books and collecting knives. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hotchkiss and a volunteer for the senior citizens center in Hotchkiss.
He is survived by his brothers, Brent Christian of Hotchkiss, and Hobie Christian and his wife Lisa of Paonia; a sister, Anita Webb and her husband Trey of Canadian, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Christian was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Casilda Christian.
Arrangements are being handled by Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
