Lillian "Martha" King died Nov. 16, 2012, at her home in Delta. She was 82.
A Panikhida memorial service was held Nov. 19 at St. Andrews Orthodox Church in Delta, and a funeral service was held Nov. 20 at St. Andrews Orthodox Church with Father Daniel Jones officiating. Burial followed at the Delta City Cemetery.
Lillian Vee Galloway was born to William and Elizabeth (Morrison) Galloway on July 9, 1930, in Denver. She spent her childhood and attended schools in Denver, graduating from North High School in 1947. She graduated from the Presbyterian School of Nursing in Denver in 1968.
On May 31, 1952, she married Fredrick King in Reno, Nev. They celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Mrs. King enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother, hiking, bicycling and camping. She was a member of St. Andrews Orthodox Church.
She is survived by her husband, Fredrick of Delta; two sons, Rex King and spouse Jan, and Roy King and spouse Barbara, all of Denver; one daughter, Carla Gibbs and spouse Lee of Riesel, Texas; seven grandchildren, Venessa King, Valerie King, Cally King, Jared King, Garrett Gibbs, Brian Gibbs and Jonathan Gibbs; and one great-grandchild, Wren Gibbs.
She was preceded in dath by a sister, Mary Louise Wilson; a brother, William Galloway; and one daughter, Cathy King.
