Former Cedaredge resident Madge "June" Ayers died Nov. 14, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. She was 91.
Funeral services were held Nov. 19 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cedaredge with Bishop Nate Tollis conducting.
Mrs. Ayers is survived by her children, Billie Farley and spouse Harold of Cedaredge and Lloyd Ayers and spouse Lena Jo of Battle Mountain, Nev.; six grandchildren, Kenna Ashurst, Sandra Farley, Craig Farley, Nick Ayers, Lisa Farnsworth and Dave Spickert; 15 great-grandchildren, Holli Baugh, Michael Trotter, Zack Smith, Craig Farley, Ryan Farley, Brittany Smith, Dakota Ashurst, Hailey Jones, Hannah Jones, Trinteen Ayers, Quinton Ayers, Payton Ayers, Jolena Ayers, Dutch Farnsworh and Emma Farnsworth; and four great-great-grandchildren, Kaeli Baugh, Michael Baugh, Myaha Ashurst and Brodi Ayers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Ayers; a brother, Lloyd Ford; a sister, Barbara Wendell; a son-in-law, Harold Farley; and a great-grandson, Ryan Farley.
Arrangements were handled by Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
