Douglas G. Tuttle died from complications of pneumonia on Dec. 7, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. He was 58.
He was born Sept. 25, 1954, in Colorado Springs to Harvey and Mildred (Marksberry) Tuttle. He was raised in Cedaredge and graduated from Adams State College in Alamosa.
He worked for Adolph Coors Co. in Golden, then became plant manager at Russell Stover Candies in Montrose for many years. At the time of his death he was the director of manufacturing at Enstrom Candies in Grand Junction.
Mr. Tuttle enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors fishing, hiking or biking.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Tuttle of Grand Junction; his sons, Shane Tuttle stationed with the U.S. Navy in Afghanistan, and Tanner Tuttle of Nashville, Tenn.; his daughters, Seyward Robbins of Virginia Beach, Va., and Haley Tuttle of Tucson, Ariz.; his brothers, Marty Tuttle and his wife Terri of Denver, Bill Tuttle and his wife Janet of Grand Junction, and Scott Tuttle of Grand Junction.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction.
