Duane Davis died Dec. 11, 2012, at his home in Montrose. He was 55.
He was born in Delta to Charles and Melba Davis. He attended school in Delta.
Mr. Davis enjoyed music, working on computers, outdoor activities and spending time with his friends and family. He served nine years in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Micheal Davis and wife Maggie of Montrose, and Bob Davis of Delta; two brothers, Lee Davis and wife Sue of Austin, and Terry Davis and wife Dawn of Fruita; and a sister, Alma Davis of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Melton Davis, and an infant sister.
A memorial service was held Dec. 15 at Sunset Mesa Funeral Directors.
