Cedaredge resident Victor "Dwight" Browning died Jan. 9, 2013, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert. He was 91.
A private interment will be held at the Cedaredge Cemetery. An open house was held Jan. 14 at the Browning residence in Cedaredge. A memorial service will be held in the summer.
Mr. Browning was born to Victor and Thelma (Curry) Browning July 29, 1921, in Line-ville, Iowa.
He married Helen Luse Sept. 15, 1945, in Princeton, Mo. They celebrated 67 years of marriage last year.
Mr. Browning spent his whole life driving a truck and trailer. During that time he traveled to every state in the union.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Cedaredge; two children, Judith Welch and her husband Gene of Cedaredge, and Jennifer Hofschulte of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren, Deanna Sadlier and her husband Bob, Jason Hofschulte, and Wayne Welch; and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Hofschulte, Kailie Hofschulte and Ryan Sadlier.
Arrangements are being handled by Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
