Sherry Sunich

a09 sunichSherry Alene Sunich died Jan. 26, 2013, at the age of 67.

She was born in Wichita, Kan., on Oct. 12, 1945, to Robert and Margie Donley.

She grew up in Oxford, Kan., and moved to Paonia in 1960. She graduated from Paonia High School in 1963.

She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Sunich, on Aug. 17, 1963.

She enjoyed God, her family and friends, her church and the different communities she was involved with. She was creative and always had a positive outlook on life.

She is survived by her husband, Robert of Paonia; two daughters, Allyson Conley and sons, Tyler and Lane of Lakewood, Melany Propp and sons Duncan and Mason, also of Lakewood; a son-in-law, Ray Miller and children Kaitie, Brandyn and Krystie of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother and his wife, Robert and Fran Donley of Greeley; nephews, Jeff Donley of Greeley and Robert Donley, his wife Sarah and their son Cooper of Byers; and her mother-in-law, Jennie Sunich of Somerset.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jenifer Alene.
Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 2600 S. Wadsworth Boulevard, Denver, at 2 p.m. Feb. 2.
