Mary Ann Williams Klismet of Windsor died Feb. 26, 2013. She was 71.
She was born in Austin in 1941. She attended Fairview Elementary School in Austin and graduated from Delta High School in 1960.
Her family owned Baron Lake Boat House on Grand Mesa where they lived every summer. She worked at the visitor center on Grand Mesa during the summers while she was in college.
She earned a bachelor of arts in French from Western State College, a master's in early childhood education from the University of Iowa, and a post-master's certificate in early childhood special education from the University of Colorado Denver. During her career as an educator she taught every educational level from preschool through community college, including several years in the Montrose County School District and the Windsor School District where she lived the past 12 years.
Mrs. Klismet is survived by her son, Kary Klismet and wife Karen of Denver; her daughter, Loni Beall and husband Brady of Fort Collins; three grandchildren, Matt, Elizabeth and Kara Beall; her sisters, Marilyn Boyd of Olathe and Merita Capeloto of Westminster, Calif.; nieces, Lynette Rowland and Emily Rowland, both of Olathe; many other nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Aileen Henson.
A memorial service was held at LifePointe Church in Fort Collins. Inurnment will take place at the Cory Cemetery during a private service this summer.
