Marian Melvina Miller died March 22, 2013, at Mantey Heights Care Center in Grand Junction. She was 99.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 4, at Cedaredge United Methodist Church with Rev. Deb Edwards presiding. Services will conclude at the church.
Marian Melvina Brorby was born in Maplewood Township, Minn., Nov. 16, 1913, to Melvin and Julia (Toso) Brorby. She moved with her family to Columbus, N.D., where she attended public school.
She was a retired beautician. She enjoyed being a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, singing, ballroom dancing, playing the piano and volunteering at the nursing home. She was a member of the Cedaredge United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Miller is survived by twin brothers, Dean and Dale Brorby of Noonan, N.D.; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Miller of Cedaredge; two grandchildren, Linda Bull of Cedaredge and Michael Miller of Pismo Beach, Calif.; seven great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Marlyn; a sister, Violet; and her son, Donald Miller.
Arrangements are being handled by Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
