Kent Calhoun died March 25, 2013, at his home in Crawford. He was 52.
A memorial service was held April 1 at First Baptist Church in Delta.
He was born to Ray and Bertha (Hiler) Calhoun Nov. 1, 1960, at the Calhoun cow camp on the Uncompahgre Plateau. He spent his childhood around Escalante Canyon, the Calhoun cow camp and the Uncompahgre Plateau. He graduated from Delta High School in 1979.
Mr. Calhoun was a cowboy and a guide and outfitter.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Calhoun of Crawford; three sons, Scott Calhoun and wife Kersea of Delta, Aaron Calhoun and partner Daniel of Pueblo, Raymond Calhoun and wife Katrina; four stepsons, James Small and wife Staci of Grand Junction, Tyler Dych and wife Cydni of Hotchkiss, Travis Dych of Cedaredge, and Trevor Dych of Tennessee; three grandchil-dren, Madison Calhoun, Tristan Calhoun and Georgia Waitman; and his mother-in-law, Patricia Gardner.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.
