Noma Vouga died April 5, 2013, at her home in Hotchkiss. She was 95.
Noma Louise Booth was born in Clayton, N.M., June 7, 1917, to Lewis and Effie (Nealy) Booth. The family moved to Colorado in 1918. She attended Delta County schools, graduating from Paonia High School in 1935.
Mrs. Vouga enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during family gatherings in the mountains of Colorado.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Sorenson of Hotchkiss; three grandchildren, Steve Coleman of Johnstown, Jamie Colwell of Alamosa and Mike Crawley of Elizabeth; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Billie Oravez of Boise, Idaho, and Jacque Kuta of Delta.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Donald Bennett and Ernest Vouga; and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
