Patricia Owens died Monday, April 22, 2013, at her son's home in Grand Junction. She was 75.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Paonia Christian Fellowship. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Paonia.
Patricia L. Graves was born in Boulder Oct. 8, 1937, to Lloyd and Patricia (Hurley) Graves. She attended schools in Denver, Boulder and Paonia, graduating from Paonia High School in 1955. Follow the death of her parents she lived with her maternal aunt and uncle, Mary and Charlie Childress of Paonia.
She married Richard Owens on May 28, 1955, in Amarillo, Texas. They later divorced.
Mrs. Owens was past president of the Hotchkiss Emblem Club and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Grand Junction.
She is survived by a daughter, Tina Vigueria and husband Art of Paonia; four sons, Tim of Grand Junction, Brian and wife Amy of Colorado Springs, Richard and wife Samatha of Grand Junction and Robert of Fruita; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael.
