Thomas C. Sinner died May 17, 2013, at the age of 82.
He was born in Montrose Sept. 5, 1930, to Godfred and Mary Sinner.
He attended school in Montrose where he was active in the 4-H club and participated on the wrestling, boxing and cheerleading teams. He graduated in 1948.
After he served in the U.S. Navy he lived in Colorado until moving to Highland, Calif., in 1960.
Mr. Sinner worked for Dillsin Construction and was a member of the Lions Club.
He married Millie Schmalz in February 1960. They celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Mr Sinner is survived by his wife, Millie; a daughter, Sherry Mitchell and husband Curt and their children, Michael, Michele and Matthew; sons, Tommy Sinner and wife Elaine and their children, April Craig and Sarah Osborne and husband Chance, and Dave Sinner and his children, Andrew and Jessica and their mother, Marion; his brothers, Bill and Darrell and sister-in-law, Myrna; and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delta. Viewing will be at 9 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado in Grand Junction.
