Arthur L. "Buddy" Carrow died June 7, 2013, at his home in Paonia. He was 92.
He was born in Festus, Mo., June 8, 1921, to Cyprian and Eva (Jaquet) Carrow.
Mr. Carrow served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a retired glassworker with PPG Industries in Crystal City, Mo., and served as a volunteer firefighter in Pevely, Mo., for several years. He was a member of the Festus Elks Lodge before he moved to Colorado.
He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.
Mr. Carrow is survived by his wife of 65 years, Geraldine (Shutts) Carrow; two sisters, Emily and Rose; a son, Stephen and wife Renee; a daughter, Donna Cordes; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edwin, Earl, Sylvester and Woodrow Carrow; and a sister, Ida Carrow.
