Grace E. Smith, 91, of North Manchester, Ind., died May 29, 2013, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center in North Manchester.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m., at Cedaredge Cemetery. Friends are invited to gather with the family at Cedaredge Park after the service to share memories, food and fellowship.

Mrs. Smith was born July 27, 1921, to William and Elizabeth (Foutz) Deaton in Preble County, Ohio. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1938 and attended Bethany Bible School and Manchester College.
On May 5, 1945, she married Fred Smith. They moved from southern Ohio to Colorado in 1959. Fred died July 23, 1997.
A homemaker, Mrs. Smith lived in Cedaredge until 2010 when she moved to North Manchester, Ind. She was a member of Gratis Church of the Brethren in Gratis, Ohio.
She is survived by four sons and their wives, David and Barb Smith of Las Vegas, N.M., Lyle and YuLing Smith of Qingdao, China, Kenneth and Robin Smith of Ellendale, N.D., and Neil and Anna Bergstrom of Denver; three daughters and their husbands, Marilyn and Ann Kieffaber of North Manchester, Ind., Lorita and Bob Janas of Lino Lakes, Minn., and Lucinda and Perry Lawson of Denver; a sister, Martha Mason and her husband Frank of Shelby County, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and a grandson.
