Nancy Sharon Brenton died of cancer April 9, 2013, at her home in Wheatridge. She was 73.
She was born in Crawford Nov. 21, 1939, to Charles and Agnes (Nutter) Bishop. She spent her childhood in Delta, graduating from Delta High School in 1957. She attended Western State College in Gunnison.
She worked for the Bureau of Land Management.
On Nov. 10, 1962, she married Thomas Brenton in Delta. Before moving to Wheatridge they lived in Germany, Dallas, Texas, Minneapolis, Minn., and Alexandria, Va.
Mrs. Brenton is survived by her husband; two daughters, Marlene Williamson and husband Craig of Denver and Melanie Hager and husband Bill of Brighton; six grandchildren; her sisters, Sandra Allmon and huband Doyle of Rifle, and Benita Hammond and husband Howard of Montrose; a brother, Jerry Bishop and wife Judi of Colorado Springs; a niece and seven nephews; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bishop.
No services were held. Her grandsons scattered her ashes at Lands End on Grand Mesa.
