Sandra Kay Miller died Aug. 8, 2013, at her home in Hotchkiss. She was 65.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Hotchkiss. Services will conclude at the chapel.
Mrs. Miller volunteered as a driver for the Hotchkiss ambulance service for more than seven years. She enjoyed the companionship of her dog Buddy.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Ralph Miller of Hotchkiss; her mother, Elsie Wilson of Fremont, Mich.; five stepchildren, Todd Miller and wife Emily, Denise Hubbard, and Dennis Bird, all of Denver, Doug Bird and wife Gina, and Deborah Anderson, all of Arvada; three brothers, Bill Wilson and significant other Judy Brodrick of Beloit, Wis., Larry Wilson and wife Sandra of Knoxville, Tenn., and Steven Wilson and wife Nancy of Trinity, Ala.; a sister, Pat Carter and husband Herman of Newaygo, Mich.; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends Dick and Carol Stevens of Hotchkiss and Glenda Bass and children.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Wilson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
