Beulah Kline died Sept. 20, 2013, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert. She was 89.
A funeral service was held Sept. 27 at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Cedaredge. Burial followed at Cedaredge Cemetery.
Beulah Marion Alderson was born in Midvale, Idaho, May 21, 1924, to Roy and Ethel (Osborn) Alderson. She spent her childhood and attended schools in Idaho and Washington.
On June 24, 1946, she married Bishop Kline in Colville, Wash. They were married nearly 50 years before Bishop died April 8, 1996.
After raising her family, Mrs. Kline received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Mesa State College in Grand Junction. She worked at Horizons Care Center in Eckert for more than 20 years before retiring.
Mrs. Kline enjoyed her family and close friends, crocheting, embroidery, sewing and cooking.
She was a longtime member of the Grange in Hotchkiss.
She is survived by her son, Harry Kline and wife Cindy of Cedaredge; two daughters, Betty Balcom and husband Monte of Ellensburg, Wash., and Edithe Cress and husband George of Harrison, Idaho; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Kline; a son, Charles Kline; two brothers; and two sisters.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.
