Sally Gray died Nov. 23, 2013, at her home in Eckert. She was 88.
A family gathering will take place in the spring.
Sally Virginia Frey was born in Maher Aug. 18, 1925, to Charles and Lillie (Collins) Frey. She grew up in Maher and Crawford and graduated from Crawford High School in 1944.
She lived in Aspen and Eldon, Mo., before moving to Eckert in 1984. While in Aspen she was a member of the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary and is a past Madam President of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Mrs. Gray enjoyed time with her grandchildren, the Colorado Rockies and cooking.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Harold) Smith of Silt, Diana (Don) Dinwiddie of Eldon, Mo.; a brother, Keith "Bud" (Barbara) Frey of Littleton; a cousin and caregiver, Pat Noble of Delta; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel Gray; three sisters, Marie Parks, Charlene Fuller and Gene Frey; and four brothers, Charlie Frey, Homer Frey, Jack Frey and Bus Frey.
Memorial contributions may be made to any local organization that helps blind individuals or to any senior citizen organization.
