Jeannine K. Fick died Dec. 6, 2013, at Swedish Hospital in Denver of complications from a brain aneurysm. She was 69.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, at Grand Mesa Southern Baptist Church in Cedaredge. A light lunch will follow the service. Interment will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at Elk Mountain Cemetery north of Steamboat Springs.
She married Walter Fick Sept. 21, 2013, at Chapel of the Cross in Cedaredge.
Mrs. Fick enjoyed dancing, fishing, hiking, gardening, cooking, sewing and traveling and biking in the mountains. In her earlier years she enjoyed running.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Fick; son, John Crabtree and his family of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; daughter, Wendi Crabtree of Colorado Springs; a sister, Marie Henderson and family of Grand Junction; brothers, Norman of Canada, Chuck of Sandpoint, Idaho, Truman of Leavenworth, Wash., and twin brother Fred of Steamboat Springs; two grandchildren, Ellis and Kelli of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; and countless nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Sandelin.
